I initially came to Karla several years ago as an acupuncture skeptic. The acupuncture process itself is not painful; in fact, it is very relaxing and rejuvenating. After a few sessions, I began to notice significant improvement in my toe joint. Since then, Karla has treated me for pain in various other locations, including upper and lower back, neck, and hip. Intellectually speaking, I still don't understand HOW or WHY acupuncture works -- it still feels a bit like magic to me -- but the important point is that Karla has relieved my recurring pain, and I highly recommend her services!
